My Work
Biopoietic
I founded Biopoietic, a research and publishing platform exploring the emergence of digital intelligence — the idea that code is no longer written, it is grown. Rooted in the concept of digital biopoiesis, Biopoietic examines intelligence not as an invention of man, but as a fundamental property of the universe finding its next substrate. We publish essays, frameworks, and field notes on AI cognition, recursive self-improvement, and the symbiosis between human and machine intelligence.
Digital Nature
I started Digital Nature to address a need for modern, lightweight websites and web applications. At Digital Nature I create custom, user-friendly websites and web applications that are built from the ground up using the latest web technologies. I specialize in developing responsive websites and web applications that are optimized for both desktop and mobile devices. I also develop custom APIs and integrations with 3rd party services. I am committed to providing my clients with the highest quality product, on-time and on-budget.
Deck Fifty Design
I co-founded Deck Fifty Design, a small Drupal development company in British Columbia. While at Deck Fifty I lead the development of numerous client projects and gained considerable experience with the full project lifecycle from concept to launch. I was also responsible for the design and development of the main deckfifty.com website. In addition to writing code I also managed the day to day operations of the company, including client relations, project management, and marketing.
